Portugal and Estoril Track School Tour

This is an up market track school tour, taking in amazing road riding before heading down to Estoril and trying your hand at one of the toughest GP circuits. This trip is for serious motorcyclists, who can ride if needed 300 mile days, and can ride twisty mountain roads. Please do not come if you do not have good road riding skills, as you will struggle.

Included

  • 7 nights in 4 star hotels, all with private secure parking, swimming pools and other facilities, private bathrooms and full breakfast each day.
  • 4 evening dinners, with local alcohol, which is limited.
  • The trip is 10 days - leaving by ferry from Plymouth to Santander - you will have 7 nights in Portugal.
  • Luggage transferred for all riders once they reach the 1st hotel in Portugal – only whilst riding the twisty roads, the ride to and back form Lisbon you will carry your bags. This may change, we might run a van for luggage from the UK return, if riders want this service, if so, then an additional charge will apply.
  • 1 day track riding at the Estoril GP circuit, with instruction and evaluation
  • Estoril instructor to accompany you on the road riding elements prior to the track, multi lingual
  • Fully guided from Salamanca.

You will receive a detailed route book, highlighting where to ride, distances, and anticipated riding times for each leg. Routes designed by motorcyclists and motor cycle journalists, who live in Portugal.

What else is on offer?

  • Route book, if you wish to ride on your own.
  • Assistance in Portugal with any mechanical issues - we speak Portuguese and will help with any problems where we can.
  • If not racing, Estoril / Lisbon is a great place to shop, eat, drink, or just relax. We will provide you with many suggestions.
  • Ride outs from Estoril will be available for those not racing. These will take you though some stunning scenery on Portugal's Blue coast region, South of Lisbon or to Cabo da Roca - Europe's most Westerly point.

Track school day at the Estoril GP circuit

The Estoril track is only open to the public about 3 times a year, so it's quite a special opportunity to be able to race there. The days are with full instruction, as well as free style riding time in the afternoons.
This is not "a free for all" race day all day, you do have time to ride on your own with no instructors but the days are designed to improve your track day skills, with evaluation, and professional instruction given, before they let you loose. The following facilities are in place:

  • 3 groups operate - beginner, intermediary, pro - this way everyone gets a chance to ride at their pace and to enjoy the event to the best of their own ability, without being intimidated by others.
  • Mechanic on site - Bike set up - suspension etc by qualified mechanic, plus understanding of what elements affect bikes during high speed racing.
  • 35% off Pirelli tyres - on site, fitted and balanced.
  • Lunch, unlimited soft drinks and snacks.
  • 5 hours riding in total on the track, split in to 30 minute sessions, these can be quite challenging as they are longer than most UK circuits, and a 30 minute free ride.
  • Instructors, mostly ex Spanish and Portuguese circuit riders.
  • Full medical facilities on site.
  • Prizes and certificates for various categories.
